As the first step in treatment electrodes are placed on the body and the feedback from these is analysed by a therapy monitor, allowing the operator to map out, for instance, the acupuncture trigger points on the patient. The subsequent therapy then tries to re-introduce the harmonious energy waves into the body and \u2018turn away\u2019 the disharmonious ones.
