The orders of knights who settled here to treat the sick, used the medicinal springs as early as the Middle Ages, in medicinal baths which they built adjacent to their monasteries.<\/p>\n

At a later date the Cs\u00e1sz\u00e1r-Mill, which manufactured gun-powder, was located on this site.<\/p>\n

During the 19th<\/sup> century, the Baths evolved into a medical-centre, with a hotel for the use of the patients, and a hospital building for treating rheumatics.<\/p>\n

Its medicinal waters are mainly effective in treating joint and muscle damage.<\/p>\n
